MyLOFT in the Russian State Library

In November 2024, the Russian State Library introduced for its users a possibility to access the remote resources through the MyLOFT service. Readers can view the materials of all the databases, libraries and collections which make a part of the electronic subscription of the RSL (except for the resources of the restricted access) without visiting the library in person.

Having signed in as an RSL reader on the MyLOFT sign-in page of the Russian State Library, you get a letter from the RSL confirming the fact of your signing-in. Then, you log in on the MyLOFT homepage and start working with the resources you are interested in from any of your gadgets and from any location point of the world without any additional singing-in steps. Search engines recognise you as a reader of the Russian State Library ever since. Apart from the search across the content of the RSL subscription resources, you will be able to discover the materials you need via other search engines such as Yandex, Google Scholar and PubMed, as well as on the SciLit content aggregator platform.

On your personal account you can select databases most relevant to your interests, set the email or push notifications concerning new issues of the e-journals, arrange your personal document library which will be available to you from any of your gadgets even in the off-line mode, and share your content too. You will probably be delighted with the capabilities of the voice search and the embedded viewer with the functions of representing full texts, voice-reading, highlighting the necessary fragments, etc. The embedded assistant meanwhile will let you get acquainted with the useful information for the efficient work with the MyLOFT app and will open a chat with the support if you occur to need one.
